Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. There is so much to be Thankful for!

If I were to name everything I was thankful for God for I would be here for the rest of my life. I'm so glad for Thanksgiving today to celebrate my thankfulness. Everything has not gone the way I wanted it this year but I have to say I am so happy how things have turned out. This year it will be just my mother and I for dinner . My brother is traveling to visit his family and I am thankful for that as well. I pray everyone has a safe and festive holiday.Tell me about your Thanksgiving and what you are thankful for?

100 days to get Spring Break Slim

Since I have been a college student I have spent two spring breaks at home.That was all of them, mind you. I either spent those days studying or sleeping. I refuse to spend another year at home. I am planning a trip to Puerto Rico and I am so excited! I have never been that far from home and I can't wait to explore the beaches and all else Puerto Rico has to offer. Though this is very exciting, promising, potentially the most fun I have ever had in my life I am using this this trip as motivation to lose more weight and a significant amount at that. I want to spend my first real spring break comfortable, relaxed and fifty pounds lighter. I don't plan to wear a bathing suit or anything.... I'm not that bold yet. But I would like to wear some sundress sans sweater, shall or any kind of cover up I usually use as my big curl crutch.

So I am going to be adamant about losing this weight. Fifty pounds in approximately sixteen weeks. I am going to work out at least three times a week, eat right, and keep a positive outlook about this. I will be starting on December 1, 2010 and I will keep you guys posted until March 10, 2011, the date I plan to leave on Spring Break!

School has started.yay?

So classes at my college started last Monday. I have a pretty full load but I'm kind of glad about it. The sooner I complete them the sooner I will graduate. I am thinking of joining a club just so I can say that I did at least one social thing in my college career.

So fashion wise, I did alright last week, I was broke, so no money for back to school clothes but I managed to look decent with the things I had. I recently did some online shopping so I'm going to do some hauls via youtube and All The Above. I'm really excited, as it will be my first haul. I'm also thinking of having a contest. I already have three possible prizes.

Health wise I am doing better with my diet. I have learned to take baby steps and I'm slowly weening myself of junk food. Since it is so hot I drink a lot of water which I usually have a hard time doing in my cool house. I take the stairs more times than not and because the parking is so bad I park very far away from my classes so I'm doing a lot of walking. I pack my own lunch and so far so good. I have yet to see any results but its only been a week. I have to make a new schedule to work in my workouts seeing as I have a lot of homework. I will keep you guys posted.

So since my schedule is so hectic that means less computer time but I want to keep my blog and youtube updated. I am going to try to do a blog entry and video every Wednesday. We'll see how it goes.

My Favorite Handbag

So back in Feburay my birthday had just passed and Valentine's Day was coming up for the sheer purpose to annoy me. Being single and now an adult I have chosen to look at the day in a whole new light. So I was thinking of things I could do to make it a day about me and not a day that may depress me. After watching a youtube video I entered a contest sponsored by Baghaus.com and given by dulcecandy87. I did not win, Ifat Pecker did, (lol at the bogus name). Though I did not win I was happy to have found the site. Then a brilliant idea came to me, “Buy yourself a nice bag for Valentines day.” I did. I purchased the Betty Davis Faux Croc Bag from Baghaus. I received it a little after Valentine's Day and Six months later, it is still my favorite purse. I have gotten so many compliments on this bag. One of my classmates I don’t particularly care for and I get the vibe feelings are mutual; stopped me in the hall and we chatted over my hot bag. This bag is MAGIC. Lol But seriously I will be buying from Baghaus in the very near future. They have a great, highly fashionable product and for the moment, and past six months this bag has been my very ,very favorite of all my bags.
